The kiva program has been developed in the University of Turku, Finland against  bullying , it has been implemented for the first time in Latin America at the Instituto Patria Bosques which makes it one of the pioneers in its application.
We, who work at the IPB  consider that bullying is totally unacceptable, because all students have the right to an education of tolerance and respect as well as to a healthy school life.

Kiva focuses on the prevention, detection and intervention of all the different types of bullying.
The IPB’s kiva team is responsible of achieving the success of the program through the implemtation of the program's training taught by the Finnish coordinator Tina Makela.
The planning is done with material available from the program in a transversal way, with different assignments at assigned moments in a specific way in English as well as in Spanish.

El programa KiVa desarrollado en la Universidad de Turku, Finlandia contra el acoso escolar, se ha implementado por primera vez en Latinoamérica y el Instituto Patria Bosques es pionero en la aplicación del mismo.

Actualmente la postura de quienes laboramos en el IPB sobre el bullying es inaceptable, ya que todos tenemos derecho a una convivencia escolar sana. 

KiVa trabaja en la prevención, detección e intervención de los diferentes tipos de bullying. Se cuenta con el equipo KiVa en el colegio, quien es responsable de llevar a cabo el programa de acuerdo a la capacitación implementada por la Coordinadora Internacional del programa, la Finlandesa Tina Makelä.

La planeación se trabaja con los materiales disponibles del programa, de manera transversal con las diferentes asignaturas y en momentos asignados de forma específica tanto en español como en inglés.
